About Jess Aleigha

Hi, I'm Jess - My Bio and Background I am a former early childhood teacher and now full time graduate student, studying Counseling at the University of Lynchburg with the hopes of becoming a play therapist. My approach with young children is responsive, child-led, and play-based. I hold an active VA early childhood teaching license and have almost 20 years of experience working with children under six in VA, NC, and even abroad in Taiwan. I've taught in public schools, homeschools, and alternative schools like Montessori. I also have teaching and administrative experience in childcare centers. I'm certified infant/toddler CLASS observer. In my free time I love singing, reading, art, and yoga I'm looking for one-time or recurring opportunities.
