I prepare and serve good meals, following any required diet. Keep excellent records of daily activities; BP (if required); medication dispensing; intake and/or output. Have an established record of reliability - always on time. Able to create a positive rapport with clients, family and other staff. Patient and highly compassionate. I enjoy the communication with my elderly clients because they have all lived very interesting lives. I become very involved with my clients and always make a point of keeping on top of any health issues they have or develop and make sure any concerns are conveyed to the family and/or doctors. I am an RN who works with elderly clients and supervises their care. I had the pleasure of working with Jerry on a case with an elderly woman for 10 years. Jerry is one of the most compassionate and caring caregivers I have ever worked with. She is extremely sensitive to her client's needs and does everything she can to help them and to improve their quality of life. She is wonderful with the client's family and friends. She ensures that those relationships are maintained. She is an excellent cook and closely follows whatever diet the client may be on. She provides activities and outings that appeal to her client, with the family's support. Jerry is extremely observant of any health changes and is comfortable taking clients to their doctor's appointments. She takes excellent notes and reports back to the family or doctor to make sure that the client's health care needs are met. She gives excellent personal care. I would highly recommend her!
