I had working experience in an elderly group home for more than 10years, handling both ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents, assisting in transferring / lifting. I am knowledgeable in using medical equipment's such as Hoyer lift, portable oxygen and concentrator, peg tubing machines, c-pap. Knowledge in medication administration, assisted in daily living activity (which includes: bathing, dressing, feeding, meal preparation, cooking and mobility). Residents Medical care which includes sliding scale insulin, wound care (supervised by a licensed health professional) peg-tubing, colonoscopy care, catheter care, tracheostomy care. I am experience in handling Alzheimer's/ Dementia, diabetic case, stroke: personal and supervisory level of care. I also assist my residents in transporting for doctors appointments and some personal errands they need. I am very compassionate, lovable person.
