Hello I am Jenny. I was a teacher and coach for 6 years. Previous to teaching, I nannied for 2 families full-time throughout my college years. I am a very energetic, happy, calm active soul. Since taking sabbatical from teaching 2019 (:D), I've cared for many little ones each winter in Vail and now Salida, which is home for me. I really enjoy having fun with children of all ages (4 months +). You can expect me to be open to anything fun and active to do with your kids... ski, skate, surf, climb, hike, bike, reading books, nature walks.. you let me know! I am also okay with just a fun night in building forts and having fun. With a plethora of experience and researched based strategies, I'm very comfortable and can assure a safe, happy & engaged time with your little one(s)!

If you want someone who will make your kiddo love adventure, Jenny is your girl. My kid was out of the house for most of the day, going to parks, and playing in the river. She has never been more exhausted (in the best way) for nap and bed time. I can’t recommend Jenny enough 

We had a wonderful experience working with Jenny! She cared for our 7-month-old daughter and did an excellent job. Jenny quickly learned our routines and preferences, picking up just about everything within her first day and consistently following our daughter’s schedule.

She was wonderful with our baby. Jenny spent time playing with her both indoors and outdoors and worked to keep her curious and stimulated throughout the day.

Beyond being a great nanny, Jenny was simply a pleasure to have around. She was reliable, positive, and brought a warm presence to our home. We are so grateful for the care she provided and will truly miss having her around. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and dependable caregiver.

Jenny was our babysitter from August 2024 to November 2025. She watched our daughter from ages eight months to almost 2 years. I can’t say enough good things about her and our daughter absolutely adores her! Jenny is all things, fun, caring, reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and communicative. She was always respectful of our expectations while also prioritizing fun activities and getting outside with our girl. Jenny was always flexible with scheduling and even did an overnight weekend for us when we were in a bind. Not only is Jenny the most experienced and well educated babysitter with her background in education, she’s also a genuinely great person to be around and has a way with kids. Jenni is a true gem and I highly recommend her for any childcare needs you have with zero hesitation. If we hadn’t have moved, we’d keep her forever!

Jenny is incredible! We have worked with her for a few years now with both our toddler and our baby, and she is incredible with both of them and they love her! She is also great with multiple kids at the same time. Can’t recommend her highly enough.

Jenny is A++! Her positive energy is contagious. We were in Beaver Creek for 3 months and needed help with our then 2.5 year old. Not only was Jenny reliable, punctual, and flexible with our schedule, but she went above and beyond in caring for our daughter. Jenny put together a schedule of local kids activities, made sure that our daughter got plenty of indoor and outdoor play time, and was kept mentally stimulated throughout the day. There was no screen time, but more importantly no need for screen time because our daughter was always having fun. Jenny was also great with offering healthy food and snacks. Cannot recommend highly enough. 

Avoid Jenny if your plans are fixed -- we chose her over other options and then she canceled a few days before the contracted date when no one else was available. She attempted to set us up with an alternate, but this person canceled as well. Read other reviews and find someone who shows up.

Jenny took care of our 2 yr old when we needed a few days help. She was fantastic. Took him to the library and the park and he couldn't stop talking about all the fun they had. Would hire her again in a heart beat.

Jenny took care of our two very busy boys (4 years and 1.5 years) for six days while we were in Beaver Creek. She was an incredible caretaker and went out of her way to find and take them on activities. While my husband and I skied, she made sure the boys were on schedule, found fun and creative things for them to do, and even checked out books for them at the library. I would 100% recommend her and we hope to use her again next year. Weeks later my boys still ask for her. Any family would be lucky to have Jenny as a sitter/nanny!

Jenny did a great job caring for and playing with my 1 and 3 yr old children. She found fun ways to keep them entertained on a cold/snowy day indoors, prepped meals, and managed naps/diapers/potty time well.

Jenny was fantastic, a real pro! Our 27 month old came back from Jenny in THE BEST mood! He was happy, confident, and excited to tell us all about his day. It is a great feeling knowing that a true educator is watching, entertaining, and guiding your child.  We highly recommend Jenny to all parents out there!

Jenny is AWESOME!  I was a first time user of Care.com and needed someone to watch our shy 3 1/2 yr old while we skied. I called her and she seemed great, she fit the qualifications I was looking for so I took the leap and hired her.  She watched our daughter for 3 days and on the 4th day our daughter woke up asking if Jenny was coming over, when we said no she had a little cry of disappointment.  Jenny was on time, we asked her to do a couple drop offs at the hill for us after we were done skiing so that we could hang with our kiddo and she was totally cool with it.  We loved Jenny and will absolutely hire her again if we're in the hood!

Jenny was wonderful with our 14 month old son and two dogs. She sent me updates and sweet pictures throughout the day, as well as spent some time outside with our son and both dogs. Jenny was interactive, engaging and loving with our son.

I emailed Jenny a few weeks before my trip to Vail to set up a sitter. We discussed and she said she would reserve that date and time for me. I checked in with her a week before my trip and she said she's not available anymore because she didn't think I would show up but she never even messaged me to say she wasn't available. Highly unreliable. I would not trust her as a sitter.

We hired Jenny to watch our 15 month old for 4 days while vacationing in Vail. We feel so lucky to have found Jenny because she was better than we could have imagined with our daughter. She followed all of our instructions; was communicative; was nurturing, fun, and interactive; took our daughter out to the library; got her to eat and nap; and was so easy to be around. We felt comfortable and safe knowing our daughter was with Jenny and we will hire her again next time we're in town. She's the best!

Jenny worked for our family for just over two years and what a blessing she was! She helped the kids with homework, got them to activities, and was always finding different activities for them to do to remain active.  Jenny became part of our family and is truly missed on a daily basis.  Any family would be lucky to have her!
