About Julia

The joy of seeing children learn and grow inspired me to become a caregiver. I am a mom to a 4-year-old boy and I have a bonus son who is 6, and I have some experience with childcare for younger children outside of my own. I am comfortable caring for up to two other children at a time so that I can give the needed attention to each child. My approach is patient and friendly and also stern with boundaries. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games with the kids and I encourage independent play with age appropriate toys. I will communicate with parents at pickup and provide regular updates via text or phone call and I will follow your preferred communication method. I am also happy to help with cooking, carpooling, and crafts. I am trained in CPR. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where your children can thrive. I look forward to the opportunity to help other parents and make some new friends for my boys :)
