About Jenny

Hi There! I have worked at a local Montessori school in Raleigh as a substitute teacher for all ages and have years of experience tutoring students in Middle School through High School in English Language Arts. I am especially enjoy working with ADHD students as I understand their unique quirks that procrastination and opposition pertaining to neurodivergence can entail. I build self-confidence and instill motivation using different techniques based on what works for your child. I love bringing down any of their inadvertent mental walls at the pace of each child while rebuilding using new coping methods and strategy to tackle assignments. My strengths are in guiding proper grammar, creative writing, research papers, diagramming sentences, reading comprehension and complex literature. Feel free to reach out if you would like me to help motivate and guide your child to success in these areas! - Jenny
