About Sydney

Hi! I'm a California-licensed Speech-Language Pathology Assistant with a bachelor's degree in Speech & Hearing Science and a background in child development. I genuinely enjoy working with children, creating a fun, & comfortable environment where they can be themselves. Professionally, I've mainly worked with children on the autism spectrum, as well as children with speech and language delays, developmental disabilities, and communication needs. I also have experience supporting children who use AAC and working with different communication styles, routines, and individual needs. I'm patient, attentive, and playful while understanding the importance of boundaries, consistency, and following a family's routines. I love keeping kids engaged through play, arts and crafts, reading, outdoor activities, homework help, or being a calm presence. I'm primarily available for after-school care, evenings, & occasional date nights. I'd love to get to know your family & see if we're a good fit!
