About Jennifer

I am 30 years old and have been providing care for adults, children, and pets professionally for over eight years. I have two BAs in Psychology and Music from UConn, and am starting nursing school in the Fall. I will be taking a CNA course in June so my schedule is limited that month. Currently, I am a supplemental instructor for anatomy and physiology students at a community college, but will not be working this job over the summer. My approach to working with kids (and adults!) is to support them in exploring their ideas and curiosities and engaging them in creative play and activities. I have worked with both children and adults with co-occuring mental health and physical disabilities as a PCA and spent a year as an EMT. I value consent, communication, collaboration, and adventure, above all else! In my spare time, I study aerial silks, am a classical, jazz, and musical theater vocalist (for fun, not professionally), and I enjoy clowning around with my friends, biking, and reading.
