About Jennifer

My last job was working as a preschool teacher for children ages 2-5 in Montclair. I worked there nine years. The school I taught closed after my employer retired. I have also have 6 years experience as a nanny. I have also babysat many of my students over the years. I'm educated and have a Bachelors in Journalism for SF State. I have a clean driving record. I am also CPR and first aid certified for infants and children. I enjoy working with children. I'm a great story teller and have a lot of patience and love for the children I work with. I enjoy helping children grow and instill a love for learning about the world around them. I have countless references from employers and parents who can vouch for my abilities.

Jennifer watched our daughter while she was 1 until she was almost 2 years old. We would have kept working with her longer had my work situation not changed. We appreciate how Jennifer talked a lot with our daughter and now my daughter talks so well compared to other kids her age. Jennifer had a great schedule with my daughter allowing her to have plenty of outside time, exercise and fun. Jennifer also did lots of fun things with her: arts and crafts, listening to music, nature walks. One thing I really appreciated about Jennifer was how she does her research and knows a lot about child nutrition and development. If we get the chance, we’d love to work with Jennifer again in the future!
