I have taught poetry to children in grades K-12 for more than 20 years. I teach in Oak Park, Chicago and Evanston, and in the Education Program in Chicago. I lead professional development in poetry for K-12 teachers and am a creative curriculum consultant. I have an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in English Education. I am a former high school English teacher. I enjoy working with students at all skill levels and all levels of interest--from reluctant readers and writers to those who would like to write their own books!
