Hi! I am seeking a fulfilling position providing care for children, ages birth to 14 years old. I am a married mother of three sons (ages 20, 24, and a stepson age 25) as well as four daughters (ages 5, 7, 8, & 9). I have seven years of experience working in a developmental day school setting for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. I've also worked in the human services field and various child care settings while in high school and college. Over the last 12 years, I have been a nanny to several infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. I have also recently been a nanny to several different elementary school aged children until their parents no longer needed childcare during those hours. I am the second eldest of 10 kids so I have quite a bit of experience caring for children. I am currently a stay-at-home mom and babysit on the side.

I met Jen via care.com when I was in need of emergency childcare as my current plan had fallen through and I couldn’t afford to miss more work! Jen has been watching our little girl for 3 years now (starting at 6 months, and our daughter will be 4 in late June)! Jen is amazing and extremely dependable! She provides a structured in-home childcare that rivals most pre-k classrooms! She’s integrated circle time, arts & crafts, coloring activities as well as frequent visits to the library and the park! My girl definitely enjoys going to “Ms. Jen’s house with her friends!” We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and now we’ve made friends for life!
