About Jennifer

I have been a Registered Nurse since 1989, with RN experience in general Medical/Surgical, AIDS, Diabetes Education, Transplant Care & Education, and recently four years experience as a School Nurse for students ages 3 months to 19 years. I recently returned from living overseas for 12 years. My RN license is currently "inactive" until I complete an RN Refresher Course. Therefore, I am looking for "Care Giver" jobs at this time. I love the teaching aspect of nursing, and working with children, teens, the elderly, and animals. I held a Certified Diabetes Educator license for 10 years, but let it lapse while living out of the USA. I worked as a Transplant Educator for 8 months before being transferred out of the USA, so infection control is always at the forefront in my work habits. I am respectful, observant, attentive, loving, responsible, outgoing, open, and friendly. I have two teenage daughters; one is away at college. For decades, I have volunteered and done fund raising for various organizations (diabetes/transplant/MS) as well as numerous animal care/rights groups. I have volunteered for Young Life/WyldLife for many years. Thank you.
