About Cari

My name is Cari and I am interested in tutoring a few days a week after school. I currently teach Special Education in a public school. I just began my fourth year of teaching last week. I work with students that have varying exceptionalities. I recently obtained my Master's in Special Education. I primarily work with students in the elementary setting, but I am capable of tutoring students in middle school. I am certified to teach students in all major content areas. I have a great deal of patience when tutoring and teaching students. I use a "hands-on" approach when teaching students. I feel that worksheets are not the most effective form of tutoring students. I make learning fun and exciting. The interactive lessons help students to become more proficient in the content areas that they are struggling to master. I look forward to hearing from you.
