About Jennifer

I have been a Registered Nurse since 1989, with RN experience in general Medical/Surgical, AIDS, Diabetes Education, Transplant Care and Education, and recently four years experience as a School Nurse for students ages 3 months to 19 years old. I recently returned from living overseas in Europe and Central America for 12 years. My RN license is currently 'Inactive ' until I complete an RN Refresher Course. Therefore, I am looking for 'Care Giver ' jobs at this time. I love the teaching aspect of nursing, and working with children, teens, the elderly, and animals. I held a Certified Diabetes Educator license for 10 years, but let certification lapse while living out of the USA. I worked as a Transplant Educator for 8 months before being transferred out of the USA for ex-husbands' job, so infection control is a always forefront in my work habits. I am respectful, observant, attentive, loving, and responsible. I have two teenage daughters; one is away at college. For decades, I have volunteered and fund-raised for Diabetes, Transplant, MS, Cancer, and various other health organizations. My family has avidly volunteered for numerous animal welfare and animal rights groups, including working numerous hands-on Spay & Neuter clinics.
