About Jennifer

Nurturing children's development has always been a passion of mine. For the past 15 years, I've been a New York City public school teacher working with students with disabilities at the high school level. I have experience working with kids of all ages. I enjoy making a positive impact on the lives of children while supporting their families. I am a certified teacher with a graduate degree. I specialize in teaching reading, and have taught humanities for thr majority of my career. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I am comfortable caring for up to three children ages 5 and up. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing educational games and technology-based apps with children, and helping with homework. I communicate with parents using their preferred method.
