About Jennifer

I grew up in a farm in Northern California. My sister was our town's local rodeo queen and we both participated in a program called 4H. There, we were able to learn and raise horses, sheep, and pigs. While I got my fair share of farm work in, I was most interested in the domestic house animals, cats and dogs. I would occasionally be asked to care for the pets in my neighborhood as I am patient, gentle and understanding of the different temperaments of various breeds. Other skills include an ability to assess potential health or behavioral problems in animals and treat them accordingly, to recognize signs of fatigue, hunger and thirst, and to ensure animals in your care are clean, comfortable and well-tended. I spent my childhood in the years before college walking, feeding, and generally caring for my neighbors cats and dogs.
