Engaging and serving others in meaningful ways is a joy and an honor . My three years of experience in senior care has fueled my passion for providing meaningful experiences for those I care for, whether it's enjoying their favorite game, taking them for a walk, or being engaged in hearing their life stories. It's my goal to make them feel safe, understood, and loved to the best of my abilities. I've also had the privilege of bringing my kids along to work at times which has been very enriching. As a caregiver, I am patient, calm, compassionate, and light hearted. I keep families informed regularly. I am experienced in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion. I studied psychology for 4 years and I have had training through in-home care companies I worked for. I can provide transportation, run errands, do light housekeeping, garden, and prepare meals.
