About Wendy

I am a responsible, 37-year-old who has been in management and the corporate world for over 10 years. Now married I work from home doing freelance graphic design. However I have always had a love of caring for others, especially young children and the elderly. My husband of two years has seen this enough in me that he is encouraging me to go back to school and get an RN degree so I can have a career in this field. My most recent experience with elderly care giving, other than my own grandparents, was helping out a friend who had a busy schedule with her parents. Her father had Alzheimer's and I took special care of him for a year before they had to put him into a home for safety reasons. This was a full time position for a year, with all of the personal needs met. I also care for pets, and feel that pets provide a joy and constant companionship for elderly, and could help with both if that is your situation. I have references upon request.
