About Jenna

I have taught in the classroom for 10 years, homeschooled for 5 years (was a Classical Conversations tutor for the majority of that time), and taught in Sumner County Schools for seven years. I began my tutoring company Litteratus last year with the intention to connect families with schools and support student learning through high-impact one-on-one tutoring. It has been a ministry as much as a business. I know what it is like to need that extra support (my high school daughter has a math tutor- it has helped tremendously). My approach to tutoring is serving the parent in whatever needs their student has. I provide TCAP prep support, foundational reading support, homework help, and writing help as well. I also offer support at the elementary level in math and science. I am passionate about building student confidence in their learning while supporting families in their child's education.
