About Jasmine

As a dual major in English Literature and Educational Studies, fostering genuine love for learning and writing in my students is central to my teaching philosophy. I have always been a passionate writer, and as a Senior Editor for the opinion section of Student Life Newspaper, I gained significant experience in guiding and shaping other writers to help them produce their best work. I tutored elementary and middle school aged children throughout high school and college, and having grown up with a grandmother who taught French for 10+ years and spoke it regularly, I took also 2 years of French in high school and have studied the language independently since.
