Hi! I'm Jen. I moved to Iowa 6 years ago for my husband's job (we met in the Army in 2000). We have a 20-year-old daughter renovating her first home. I'm starting my final year of grad school in Social Work and plan to go into school social work or therapy. As the oldest child, and grandchild, babysitting came naturally to me. I was the neighborhood babysitter and a daycare helper starting at age 11 ($1/hr!). I'm curious, reflective, and creative. I love working with kids because they help me stay grounded and hopeful. Whether I see them once or often, I hope I can leave a positive mark. In my spare time, I love reading, painting, photography, walking, and landscaping.
