About me: I began working in childcare professionally upon graduating college, but I've loved hanging out with young kids since I was kid myself! Outside of work, I enjoy dancing, thrift shopping, and playing the harp. Experience: I've got 10+ years of babysitting under my belt, and I've spent the past 2 years in the classroom teaching. That's a lot of kid time! My approach to childcare revolves around promoting child autonomy, embracing play, building emotional literacy, and uplifting children's curiosity and interests. I'm also experienced in working with LGBTQ+ families. Safety: I have up-to-date early childcare clearances and I'm CPR/First-Aid certified. I'm also fully vaxxed and happy to mask in your home if preferred. Flexibility: I have an open availability, so there's a lot of wiggle room to suit your family's unique needs! I'm looking to work up to 30 hours a week (although 40 can be discussed.) I have a reliable car and am able to travel within the Philly area.
