About Aya

Hi! My name is Aya, and I'm a recent Wesleyan University graduate now pursuing my Master of Public Health at Columbia University. I've always loved working with children, and I'm excited to continue providing care while I'm in graduate school. Growing up in a large family, I gained plenty of hands-on experience caring for kids from a young age, which has translated into six years of both informal and professional childcare experience. I've worked with children from 9 months to 8 years old, and I strive to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment. I love doing hands-on activities, crafts, and outdoor play to keep kids active and happy. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and pet care. Families I've worked with describe me as enthusiastic, patient, and reliable, and I truly value building trusting relationships with both kids and parents.
