About Jeannine

I cared for my own mother during her time from her diagnosis with metastatic lung cancer until her death, managing her appointments, medications, wound care, household duties, pets, meals, and more. I assisted my dad while he lived with us with Alzheimer's disease, tending to all of the needs listed above. Now he is in an assisted living facility because he does need around the clock care, which I can't provide. I have also worked in the medical field my whole career prior to Care. com, most recently working per diem for an urgent care. I believe that no time that I'm being paid should be idle time. If your loved one doesn't need my full attention, and you approve of it, I can cook, clean, tend to plants, play with pets, or most any other thing you can think of. I'm a self starter, so if you don't leave a list of things you'd like done, and you're ok with the help, I will find things to do. Sometimes things you don't even think of and might not even notice.
