I am a caring and giving person with over 17 years of childcare experience. I did not choose this 'profession '. This 'profession ' chose me. I was a probation parole officer for over 9 years, when I became burnt out. I was tired of seeing the results of neglect and mistreatment and yearned to make a difference at the beginning stages of live instead of monitoring the end results. I began my service to children by working with the youth on my church and that eventually spilled over into my professional endeavors. It is my goal to provide a healthy, happy and safe haven for a child/ children until they transition back into a parent-lead environment.
