About Jazmine

I'd describe my personality as patient, friendly, caring and dedicated. I love seniors because I respect them, the lessons they have to teach and I believe they deserve to be treated with dignity. I started caring for seniors when my grandmother was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 2012. I quit my job to care for her as long as I could manage it on my own. I currently work part time at a Senior Living Facility on the weekends in assisted living/memory care units. One thing you should know about me is that I enter a situation expecting to build relationships. I will care for someone in the same way I hoped and wanted my grandmother's caretakers truly care for her. My skills include communication with verbal and non verbal individuals, extreme patience, always assuming good intent. I can do light housework, basic cooking and laundry, I love taking walks, love pets of all sorts, can handle assistance in and out of the bath/ dressing, administering medication. I can learn to do new things.
