Spending time with kids comes naturally. Honestly, I learn so much about myself as an adult-But beyond that, kids remind me that it's the little things that matter, like a good game of hide-and-seek. It's those moments that completely take my mind off the stresses of school and my other job. I've been babysitting since I was 11 years old, I'm the oldest of over 60 kids in my huge Mexican family, so I've been babysitting for a LONG time! I started professionally babysitting when I turned 18, so I've gained experience working with different families and kids with all kinds of needs. I'm majoring in Criminal Justice and I'm working towards a career where I can help young women/minors who are going through trauma and legal issues. My dream is to make a difference in their lives in a hands-on way, and as someone who can guide and empower them to create positive change. I believe my experiences as a sitter, and my deep empathy for kids, will play a big part in that future.
