About Jayne

I have experience working with a woman in her late 80s who had severe dementia and required assistance bathing, getting dressed, preparing meals, some overnight care, and going on outings. We had a wonderful time together and I cared very deeply about her, she has since passed. I did not have any experience with her condition prior to accepting that position, and I worked for her in upstate NY before moving to Portland. I feel that the time that I spent with her really taught me a lot and I would like the chance to help care for another person who is in need of some extra assistance. I also have experience just helping out with odd jobs, for instance coming in and making food if you are sick, or taking the dogs out.
