About Jaylene

I currently work as a Special Education Classroom Assistant at CPS, working with students who have learning, mental, emotional, or physical disabilities. I assist with coordinating and providing developmentally appropriate educational services to diverse learners. I have 5+ years experience working as a professional caregiver, working with children ages 3 to 12 years old and skilled in creating fun, engaging, and educational activities while prioritizing children's safety and well-being. I also frequently assisted children with schoolwork, helping them build confidence in their ability to achieve both academically and socially. Equally important was building trust and developing a relationship with parents, working jointly to navigate challenges and create solutions. I am available on weekdays 7:30am-5:00pm, I am open to helping with light housework, meal prep, tutoring, and other tasks. I have a valid driver's license ID.
