About Jason

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, humble and detail oriented I like tutoring because I want to share my skills. I'm looking for a job that has families that want to see their kids succeed. I started tutoring when I worked at Huntington Learning Center, but I have skills that extend beyond that Since then I've led small groups in reading and math and I have had training in how to teach decoding and phonemic awareness. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my two daughters. I also like to take my wife out. I also read books on teaching. One thing you should know about me is I have been teaching in various forms of education (tutoring, in lead positions and as a small group instructor) for 14 years. My skills include connecting with the students, reteaching skills and helping connect what they are learning to their lives.
