About Jason
Not sure how to be a teacher but Coronavirus is forcing you to be? I can help. I am here to assist you or your child with schoolwork or fill in any instructional gaps. A bit about me: I am a Summa Cum Laude (3. 95 GPA) grad that has spent the last 5 years specializing in developing global readers (from phonetics to comprehension) at a prestigious tutoring firm but I am also CRLA (College Reading and Learning Association) certified to tutor in 9 subjects. I am also very competent in tutoring math up to calculus. Many of my students have been neurodivergent, so I am skilled in adapting my instruction to fit a student's specific learning style. My students range from beginning readers to adults. I offer in person or discounted online instruction. I am patient, friendly, and compassionate and relish in seeing my students succeed. Jason has been tutoring my daughter who has some level of learning disability since the beginning of last school year( 2019-2020) She is in 8th grade and Jason is still her tutor. He helped and encouraged her throughout the pandemic and she improved from B and C's to all A's, She is more confident now than she was 2 years ago. Jason is extremely knowledgeable, calm and very patient. He is a man of integrity and punctual. I had recommended him to tutor one of my friends' son and my friend is very satisfied. I would recommend Jason to anyone who wants his/her child be successful. I promise you will not be disappointed.
