About Jasmine

As a doctoral student in hydrology, I bring one year of teaching undergraduate students, but can meet students at any level. Empowering students to move beyond rote memorization is at the heart of my teaching practice. I focus on building your confidence while fostering a genuine love for learning through critical thinking and problem-solving. Whether we are tackling complex Math or Science concepts, I adapt my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world examples tailored to your unique interests. I believe clear, consistent communication with both you and your parents is the foundation of our success. By celebrating your small wins and providing steady positive reinforcement, I help you navigate challenging material with ease. Witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you reach your full potential and making our time together truly enjoyable.
