About Janna

Hi, my name is J'Anna. I am a double major in Psychology and Social Work, and I am passionate about working with children and advocating for their well being. I have experience working with children from toddlers to young adults through my time at the Support Center for Child Advocates, where I supported youth with behavioral health needs and neurodivergence. This helped me become more patient, understanding, and intentional in how I care for each child. I have also worked at a summer camp and spent four summers at VBS, caring for toddlers through teens. I approach children with empathy, focusing less on what's wrong and more on what they've been through. I am caring, dependable, and dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment.
