My name is Janice, I'm 40 years old and have been babysitting since I was 12. When I was in high school, my mom babysat 3 children in our home so I gained quite a bit of experience helping her. From that, I often babysat those children at their homes while their parents went on date nights or were running errands. I've also done overnight care. I am the oldest of 2. I'm originally from a very small town in Maine! I live in the North Hollywood/Burbank area now. During the school year I work for the Burbank School District as a Food Service Assistant, the elementary and middle schools I am sent to work at vary depending on where I am needed on any given day. So, if you have school aged kiddos, chances are, I have seen their smiley faces at nutrition and lunch time :) I'm very reliable, honest, safe, fun, and friendly. Janice recently cared for my 8 1/2 month old while our regular care taker was on holiday. I could not of asked for a better person to step in. Janice was warm and friendly and my daughter was immediately taken with her. Janice asked questions, went with the flow of my daughter's normal day and played with her incessantly. She sent me pictures throughout the day of a very happy and fulfilled child and even bought her some books she saw in a store. I would absolutely hire Janice again and was sad to see her go. Look forward to having her care for my daughter in the future. Can't say enough about Janice and highly recommend her for anyone looking for a dedicated caretaker filled with experience, warmth and a true affection for children.
