Hi, I worked as a PTA in Home Care for 19 years, doing rehab for strokes, Parkinsons, fractures and overall weakness. Many of my patients had Alzheimers or other dementias. Preserving someone's dignity through this painful transition is essential. This requires compassion, a sense of humor and attention to the changes in someone personality I provide support snd education for the family as needed.. I'm also attuned to variations in someone's behavior which could be related to a drop/spike in blood sugar, BP, temperature and make notes if there's been a possible reaction to a med change. I love dogs-any size or breed. CPR certified. Covid vaccinations up to date.

Jan is truly one of a kind. The level in which she cares for her patients is unmatched. She provides a level of care and empathy that goes beyond anyone else that I've come across in this business. She doesn't just take care of your loved one, she provides them genuine companionship which allows them a level of dignity that most people in this position simply do not. My mother has advanced Alzheimer's and Jan worked with her through a very difficult declining period. She provided me constant updates on her moods and overall emotional state to actively help me and the doctors figure out how to handle the situation. If you are looking for someone to care about someone you love then you won't find anyone better qualified and better suited than Jan. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
