Jan cared for my mom for the last 3.5 years. My mom loved her so much - as a friend, companion and helper. Jan has a very unique skillset in her ability to subtly provide support without challenging my mom's dignity, which is incredibly important for a person with dementia. My sisters and I came to rely on Jan as one of the family and appreciated her strong communication skills, her ability to problem solve and to always ensure my mom was safe and well cared for.
