I'd describe my personality as caring, experienced, honest I like caring for seniors because it's in my blood I enjoy getting to know people learning about their past. Hoping to make their future a little more interesting and enjoyable I started caring for seniors when I was 22 In my spare time, I like to be outdoors walking especially by the beach . . I enjoy going to the movies reading, . I am very experienced Over 40 yrs in total. I worked in a nursing home for over 32 yrs . Since then I've been home care for a few clients . Most recently a 95 yr old lady . Who just passed away . Before that a gentleman for 7 yrs . I've became close to them and their families. I do things the old school way . about my clients and try to form a bond and friendship with them . My skills include all aspects of Adl's using of the hoyer life . Gait belt , giving medications. Meal prep. Bathing , hair care . helping with ambulating. Helping with physical therapy.

Janet was my beloved uncle’s full time live-in home health aide for the last year of his life. My uncle was suffering from dementia and various health issues so Janet had to provide a very high level of care including medication management, bathing and dressing, all meal preparation, and generally keeping him safe and happy. Janet did a great job taking care of him and even stayed on board assisting me when my uncle was placed on hospice. She really became a part of our family. Janet is extremely reliable, trustworthy, communicative, and genuinely cares about her client as if they were a member of her own family. I am thankful for all she did for my uncle and for me as I knew he was always safe and being well-cared for.
