I enjoy engaging with adults and seniors, improving their quality of life and when possible bring them out into the community, I started caring for seniors after caring for my grandmother. She was battling cancer. I was taking her to chemo appointments and noticed other patients had caregivers providing them support. I didn't know this was a career. When she was in remission I came back to the Poconos and graduated as a medical assistant and was hired as a home health aide. I've provided care ever since.
