About Janet

I've always loved caring for children, and I have two amazing kids of my own, 3 including my wonderful daughter-in-law. When I was younger, I moved to Boston to become a live-in nanny and I worked for the same family for 5 years. After raising my own kids, I started working in school food service. I am now the kitchen manager at an elementary school and I have been in this role for the past 7 years. This position is perfect as it combines my love of cooking and kids! I take great pride in my work and I am well liked and respected by my staff and my co-workers. I am also a student mentor and I teach before and after school enrichment classes to children. In my free time, I like to read, cook, travel, knit and spend time with my family and friends. I am dedicated, caring, kind and I always have a positive attitude.
