About Jane

I have worked as a Math, English & History tutor with children and adolescents in both paid and voluntary positions over the last 15 years. Though working as a mental health counselor during this time, I was eager to continue my involvement in education, having originally trained and worked as a High School Teacher. I have been able to blend my own education, training and experience in counseling and teaching, to provide 1:1 help to students who experience difficulties with their learning/school work/studying skills etc. Though my focus is primarily with students diagnosed with ADHD and/or behavioral issues that interfere with learning, I have also worked with students that are seeking greater scholastic challenges as they prepare for college entrance.
