About Jane

I'd describe my personality as warm, patient and persistant. I like tutoring because I help students achieve their goal and grow as learners and people. I'm looking for a job that lets me efficiently make a difference helping students in need of help understanding and completing their work. I started tutoring when I realized I was good at teaching students 1:1 and that there weren't very many good, professional tutors. In my spare time, I like to garden, sew, kayak and hike. One thing you should know about me is I am from Minnesota. My skills include: excellent math tutoring skills alg 2, Precalc, and stats.; highly successful SAT and ACT test preparation experience; extensive biology, chemistry tutoring experience including college level and AP.
