About Janell

Throughout high school and my few years so far at college I have gained lots of experience working with children. Starting when I was just a freshman in high school I was a teacher for Sunday School classes at my church. I also babysat all throughout high school for children ranging in ages from new born to middle school. Throughout junior and senior year of high school I was a mentor for a boy that attended the middle school at my home town. Not only did I provide assistance for school work, but I also helped with emotional issues this particular child was facing. In college I spent time working at the YMCA as a child care watch employee. We would engage in crafts, reading, and other activities while the parents were gone for a few hours. Right now I am currently looking to work as a tutor or a mentor for a child. I would love to be a part of helping a child grow while also gaining experience for my future career.
