About Janelle

As one of the oldest in a large family I started working with kids while very young, however I really discovered children to be my heart & joy around 19 years old when I first began working with a childcare center and saw the impact one person can have in a young life. Since then I have worked with children professionally and as a volunteer within many different settings through the years. This has looked like everything from nannying to special needs care, sidewalk sunday school ministry, teaching kids English cross-culturally, and more. I love life, the small things in life and adventure and love sharing these things with kids. As a nanny my heart is to combine fun with educational learning opportunities. Arts, crafts, baking, walks at the park, etc. I love to facilitate space for kids to learn and explore, try new things and really discover life in a hands-on way. I am also happy to help with basic tutoring, light house-keeping, laundry, etc according to your family's needs.
