Hello! I am a certified ESL and ELA teacher with a Master's in Teaching Language Arts and many years of experience in English as a second language, private tutoring, homeschooling, cross cultural living, and traditional classroom teaching. I have studied and taught the English language from every angle and at every level! - English as a Foreign Language (Conversational, Academic or Professional) - Standardized Test Prep, test taking strategies - Coaching (student responsibility, study habits, organization, homework and project help) - Writing/Editing (step by step process to make writing achievable) - Reading (Foundations and Expanded Comprehension Skills) - Grammar/Vocabulary Having taught and raised my own three successful teenagers, I know that relationship is the foundation of all learning. I provide a safe, low stress environment for all learners. When not teaching or studying, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on bike rides, gardening, and Charlotte FC matches.
