I started babysitting around age 9. A friend of my mothers had a 2-year-old and an almost 1-year-old. Starting out I would just watch them while she would do stuff around the house or when she would have company. She had a third child a couple years later and I went on to babysit for her for 4 years. Watching them while she would have errands to run or while she was at work. Even at a younger age, I would prepare easy meals, pick up the house, help with laundry. I've babysat here and there over the years. I have 3 god children. I've helped my best friend by watching them, making meals, bottles, helping with homework, etc. My biggest experience has been being with my boyfriend of 4 years. He has joint custody of two girls, ages 8 and 11. We get along great! I help my boyfriend and their mother out a lot. I treat them like my own children. I am willing to do a background check, I just don't have the extra money at this time.
