I have served as a full time nanny (of a 3-month-old), occasional babysitter (date nights) & teacher assistant. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and fully COVID vaccinated as well. I'm a Washingtonian who graduated from UDC with an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education and currently studying. I love pets, outdoor activities such as walks, , splash pads, museums and parks. I also, enjoy music and crafts whether it's indoors or outdoors. I'm currently looking for full or part time positions for the summer or part time position throughout the school year. Ms J. is fun, energetic, creative, and kind. She’s a DC native so she knows all the good places to go and loves keeping kids engaged, learning, and having fun. She continues to handle school pick-ups for us and every single family that has watched her engage with the kids after school reaches out to remark how wonderful she is and has added her to their babysitter roster. Ms J is comfortable around pets and even babysat for us after we adopted a very young puppy - which says a ton about her ability to juggle several needy living things at once 😂 Our oldest had a rough school year last year and experienced some bullying issues. Ms J was amazing at helping her overcome some of the fear and self-esteem issues that came out of that experience and our daughter is a stronger human because of Ms J’s love and guidance.
