About Jamila

I'd describe my personality as energetic, engaging, and adaptive! I like working with kids because they bring so much joy and liveliness to my life! There is much to learn from them. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling! I want to be able to serve freely and cheerfully. I love interpersonal connection, opportunity for growth as a leader, and a good challenge! I started working with kids "officially" when I was a kid myself at the age of 8! I have 7 younger siblings, so that helps, too! In my spare time, I like to read books. I also like researching fitness and nutrition to learn how to preserve my body and lifestyle. I also play guitar, sing, and spend lots of time with family! One thing you should know about me is I am a mini-mom. I have been intentional to study the Montessori approach to engaging life. I will be committed to your family! My skills include emotional attentiveness, child emotional management/discipline, the art of cultivating energy expenditure!
