About Marisa

Hi! My name is Marisa and I am a junior Psychology major at SIUE. I would love the opportunity to assist you and your family! I'd describe my personality as responsible, caring and easy-going. I like working with kids because I find it very rewarding. I love assisting kids throughout their day and watching them learn and discover new things. I started working with kids when I was 15 babysitting my younger brother and multiple cousins. Their ages ranged from 3yrs-8yrs old. Last year I have experience as a before and after school care provider for kids k-2nd and 3rd-5th. At this job I assisted with school work, led meal times, and created/played games. My skills include providing transportation to where is needed as well as helping with schoolwork and tutoring. I am also able to cook and prepare meals.
