About Jamie

Hi! My name is Jamie and I love teaching math and science!! I have 7 years of experience working as a math instructor through Mathnasium, as well as working as a manager for the company for several years. Additionally, I have tutored college students at the University of Hawaii, have private tutored math, science and English online and in-person for 3 years, and have previously served as a student assistant for a math teacher back in high school. I have also worked as a babysitter, so I can handle all ages! I have taught math for students grades K-12 and am comfortable with anything up to pre-calculus. I have a bachelor's degree in marine biology and a master's degree in marine mammal science, so I can also tutor biology and related classes/subjects! I am currently living in the Bradenton/Sarasota area in Florida but can also tutor remotely online. During the week I work as a researcher with the Sarasota Dolphin Research Program, but I am avaliable on weekends and some weeknights.
