About John

Hi! I'm John, a Naperville resident, NCHS graduate, and medical school applicant with a Biology degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master's in Clinical Research from Northwestern University. I tutor elementary, middle, high school, and college students and love making difficult subjects manageable while building confidence. I tutor Math through Calculus II, Statistics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, grammar, reading, writing, and study skills. I also help with homework, test prep, organization, time management, and standardized tests including the SAT, ACT, and MCAT. My science background includes Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy & Physiology, Genetics, Microbiology, Cell/Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, and other medical-school prerequisites. I'm patient, encouraging, and adapt to each student's needs. I focus on understanding rather than simply giving answers, while helping students develop strong study habits and become confident, independent learners.
