About Jamie

Dedicated and experienced tutor with a masters degree in teaching, graduate-level course work in special education, and a bachelors degree in civil engineering. I bring a strong academic foundation combined with real-world problem-solving skills and a calm, supportive approach to learning. I have worked with students from elementary through high school in both educational and therapeutic settings, as well as served as a camp counsellor. I specialize in making complex subjects more accessible, especially math and science, and I tailor lessons to meet each students unique learning style. My goal is to help students build confidence, develop skills and achieve success in a way that's both engaging and encouraging.
